Cultivation & Harvest
Grown primarily during the wet season from May to October, it is harvested once a year between early November and mid-January, taking approximately six months to mature. The rice thrives in the fertile soils of provinces like Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Speu, and those surrounding the Tonle Sap Lake, which nourishes the paddies with its rich ecosystem.
